About this session
An underwater photo adventure on Oahu.
Join me on a private photoshoot. You'll leave with 10 photos that will always remind you of the beautiful underwater world of Hawaii.
A two-hour underwater photoshoot at one location, chosen on the day based on conditions. You come away with 10 finished photographs.
What “10 finished photos” means: after the session I edit the images and send you a gallery to review. You choose your favourites, and I deliver 10 fully edited photographs digitally at full resolution. Turnaround is normally one to two weeks.
Where we go: most sessions run either off a boat on the South Shore or as a shore dive, depending on what you want to photograph and where conditions are best that day. I confirm the meeting point with you the evening before or the morning of the session. Transportation is not included. You make your own way to the meeting point.
If conditions are poor, the session is rescheduled or cancelled. I will never run a shoot in unsafe water.
To take part you need an AIDA 2 certification, or the equivalent from another recognised freediving organisation. Any mainstream freediving agency’s two-day beginner certification counts. If you are not sure whether yours qualifies, send me a photo of your card before booking and I will confirm. Having a real foundation in the water lets us spend the session making images rather than working on technique.
Before you book
- Price: $550.
- Duration: 2 hours in the water, one-on-one.
- Delivered: 10 fully edited photographs, full resolution, digital, in one to two weeks.
- Equipment provided: fins, mask, snorkel and a weight belt.
- Wetsuit: a full wetsuit is required and is not provided. If you need a wetsuit, contact a local dive shop before your course to confirm rental availability, sizing, and opening hours. Arrange the rental before the morning of your course.
- Transportation: not included.
Safety and participant requirements
Freediving and ocean activities involve inherent risks, including loss of motor control, blackout, drowning, pressure-related injury, changing ocean conditions, marine life, boats, and equipment problems. Participants must follow instructor directions, use required safety procedures, complete all applicable participant and medical forms, and never practice freediving alone. Course enrollment does not guarantee certification or a particular performance result. This notice is not a substitute for the separate participant agreement and written release required for participation.
